CPA Ireland Every Irish company has ongoing duties to the Companies Registration Office, whether or not it traded. The most important is the annual return. Miss the filing date and you face late fees, the loss of audit exemption for two years, and in serious cases strike-off of the company.
We act as your safety net. We track your deadlines, file the annual return on time, and handle every change the company needs through its life, from a new director to a change of registered office.
TL;DR
We keep your company compliant with the CRO: the annual B1 return, changes of director, secretary or registered office, share allotments, and your statutory registers. Annual returns start at €150, a full package from €300 per year.

Company Secretarial: your questions answered
When is a company's annual return due?
A company's first annual return is due six months after incorporation, then on the same Annual Return Date each year. You have 56 days from that date to file. We track the date and file in good time so you never miss it.
What happens if I file the annual return late?
A late B1 brings a €100 penalty plus €3 per day up to €1,200, and the company loses its audit exemption for two years, which adds real cost. Persistent failure can lead to strike-off. Our service exists precisely to prevent this.
How much do company secretarial services cost?
A single annual return starts at €150. A full company secretarial package, covering the annual return plus changes through the year and your statutory registers, starts at €300 per year, fixed and quoted upfront.
Do I need to file if my company did not trade?
Yes. The annual return is a CRO obligation regardless of whether the company traded or made any money. Dormant companies must still file on time, and we look after these on the same basis.
Can you handle a change of director or registered office?
Yes. We prepare and file the relevant CRO forms, such as the B10 for director changes and the B2 for a change of registered office, and update your statutory registers to match. Most changes are straightforward and quick.
